A Little of What You Fancy Does You Good?

12th November 2020

“The UK’s Medicine and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) has awarded a £1.5 million, no bid contract to UK company Genpact for Artificial Intelligence to: process the expected high volume of Covid-19 vaccine Adverse Drug Reaction (ADRs) and ensure that no details from the ADRs’ reaction text are missed.”

I became aware of this contract yesterday and immediately went to the Ted (tenders electronic daily) web site to check that it was correct. I haven’t noticed anything about this appearing in the mainstream media as yet.

Today, in connection with the tender announcement, this article appeared, which I think will be of interest to many of our site visitors  –

The article also contains the link to the Ted site where the details of the contract are publicly available.

Something to think about then.

Risk of being hospitalised BECAUSE OF CV? Statistically almost none.

Risk of taking a brand new, insufficiently tested, rushed, experimental vaccine, for which the manufacturers are absolved of any responsibility for?

Make your own mind up.

If you are happy – take it.

Also of interest was the announcement that on Tuesday, the day after Pfizer announced its new vaccine, the CEO of Pfizer, Albert Bourla, sold 62% of his stock in the company for approximately $5.6 million dollars. You can read about that here –

The following item appeared in today’s Telegraph. Their web site is behind a paywall but below is the extract from it which appears in today’s edition of Lockdown Sceptics at:  https://lockdownsceptics.org/2020/11/12/

Pfizer Vaccine is “Completely Unworkable” – says Ex-Director of Pharmaceutical Company

Interim analyses of vaccine trials are often carried out in case the jabs prove to be dangerous or ineffective. But one former director at pharmaceutical giant GSK told the Telegraph he was “utterly appalled” that Pfizer had released the clinical trial data before peer-review.

“Really it’s just a cynical and egregious marketing ploy by Pfizer to get early orders, with money up front, because they know that mass vaccination with a vaccine that needs storage at -80 degrees is completely unworkable,” he said. “It’s just a dreadful example of big pharma trying to get its share price up and profits into its organisation before the Pfizer vaccine is declared totally impractical for widespread use in society.

“As soon as other vaccines are available, then this Pfizer vaccine will not be widely used. Hence their announcement to get in early.”

Many experts now believe the Pfizer vaccine will never be suitable for mass immunisation because of the cost and cold-chain storage required.

My thanks to the irrepressible Marie Lloyd for the title of today’s post. My late mother also deserves a special mention too because its thanks to her that I know this, and the many other songs by Marie Lloyd, plus the dozens of others sung by music hall artists when my mother was a young woman. She was always singing something around the house when I was growing up. Have a listen to Marie Lloyd here, it might even brighten your day a little –
